Berkeley's Transit Oriented Development Success Featured on Cover of SF Business Times

BERKELEY - The Business Times' November issue published an article under the banner, "Berkeley Rising," covering Berkeley's successful efforts to increase density around transit to tackle the city's housing affordability crisis.  

"We have a slate of new projects breaking ground that will help make Berkeley more affordable by adding thousands of new units," said Mayor Jesse Arreguín.  "We must be thoughtful as we welcome new development, but we need more units to meet our affordability crisis and its nexus to homelessness. For renters and prospective homeowners alike, far too many of us have been priced out."
